Attachment & Relationship Intensives
The ways we learned to connect with others often shape the ways we relate to ourselves.
Whether you're experiencing recurring relationship patterns, difficulty trusting others, people-pleasing, fear of abandonment, or challenges setting boundaries, an Attachment & Relationship Intensive offers dedicated time to better understand your experiences and begin creating healthier ways of relating.
Is an Attachment Intensive Right for You?
You may benefit if...
You find yourself repeating the same relationship patterns.
You struggle to set boundaries without guilt.
You often feel responsible for other people's emotions.
Relationships leave you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected.
You fear rejection or abandonment.
You have difficulty trusting others.
You long for deeper, healthier connections.
Weekly therapy doesn't feel like enough time to explore these patterns.
Understanding Attachment
Our earliest relationships often influence how we experience connection throughout life.
Attachment isn't about assigning blame or finding fault with ourselves or others. It's about understanding the ways our nervous systems learned to seek safety, connection, and belonging.
Many of these patterns developed for good reasons.
As adults, however, some of those same strategies may leave us feeling stuck in relationships that no longer reflect who we want to be.
A Therapy Intensive creates space to gently explore these patterns with curiosity, compassion, and intention.

Relationships Begin With Ourselves
Many people come hoping to "fix" a relationship.
Sometimes that happens.
More often, the greatest change begins by developing a different relationship with yourself.
As your understanding, self-compassion, and emotional awareness grow, your relationships often begin to shift naturally.
The goal isn't perfection.
It's greater freedom to choose how you respond rather than feeling trapped by old patterns.

Renewal Intensive Frequently Asked Questions
How long are intensives?
2, 3, or 4 hours, depending on goals and decided in collaboration with you.
Is this couples therapy?
No.
These intensives focus on your individual experiences, relationship patterns, and attachment history.
Can my partner participate?
Sometimes.
Depending on your goals, portions of an intensive may include another person when clinically appropriate and discussed beforehand.
Do I need to know my attachment style?
Not at all.
Labels can sometimes be helpful, but our work focuses more on understanding your experiences than fitting them into categories.
Will we talk about my childhood?
Possibly.
Sometimes early experiences provide important context.
Other times, our focus remains on present-day relationships and how you'd like them to change.
Can EMDR be included?
Yes.
When appropriate, EMDR can help process experiences that continue to influence present relationships and beliefs about yourself.
Why an Intensive?
Relationship patterns often unfold over time, making them difficult to fully explore within a traditional therapy hour. An intensive provides space to notice patterns, reflect on experiences, practice new perspectives, and integrate insights without feeling rushed.
Every relationship tells a story.
Together, we'll explore the one you've been living—and the one you're hoping to create.
