Crossroads Intensives

A Life Transition Intensive

When life changes, it can be difficult to know who you are becoming.

Whether your transition is planned or unexpected, a Crossroads Intensive offers dedicated time to process change, navigate uncertainty, and reconnect with what matters most.

Is a Crossroads Intensive Right for You?

You may benefit if...

  • You're navigating a major life change.

  • You feel stuck between who you were and who you're becoming.

  • You're overwhelmed by difficult decisions.

  • Weekly therapy doesn't feel like enough time.

  • You want focused time to process without feeling rushed.

  • You'd like support creating a meaningful path forward.

What Is a Crossroads Intensive?

A Crossroads Intensive is a personalized therapy experience designed around your unique goals. Rather than trying to fit meaningful work into a traditional therapy hour, we create dedicated time to explore change, process emotions, and move toward greater clarity at a pace that honors your nervous system.

Every Intensive Is Different

Together, we decide what your intensive will focus on.

Examples might include:

Explore changes in identity, purpose, values, and direction.

Retirement

Leaving a career often means grieving routines, relationships, and identity while discovering new possibilities.

Divorce or Relationship Changes

Process the emotional impact of separation while creating space for healing and new beginnings.

Empty Nest

Navigate changing family roles while reconnecting with yourself.

Career Changes

Whether changing careers, experiencing burnout, or stepping into a new role, we'll explore the emotional and practical challenges of transition.

Becoming a Caregiver

Adjusting to caring for aging parents, a spouse, or a child can bring unexpected grief, stress, and identity changes.

Crossroad Intensive Frequently Asked Questions

How long are intensives?

2, 3, or 4 hours, depending on goals and decided in collaboration with you.

What kinds of transitions do you work with?

Retirement, divorce, career changes, caregiving, empty nest, relocation, chronic illness, identity shifts, and other significant life changes.

Will we spend the whole time making decisions?

No.

The goal isn't to force decisions. It's to create space to understand yourself, clarify what matters, and move forward intentionally.

Can we include emdr?

Yes, when clinically appropriate and when it supports your goals.

What if I don't know what I need?

That's actually quite common.

We'll use the consultation to identify what feels most important and develop a plan together.

Can other people participate?

Sometimes, depending on the goals of the intensive and what we decide together.

Why an intensive?

Major life changes can leave us feeling uncertain about who we are and where we're going. An intensive provides time to explore those questions thoughtfully and intentionally.

Every life transition asks something

different of us.

Sometimes it asks us to let go.

Sometimes it asks us to begin again.

Often, it asks us to discover strengths we didn't know we possessed.

You don't have to navigate those changes alone.

Next Steps

  1. Schedule a consultation.

  2. We'll determine whether an intensive is the right fit.

  3. Together we'll create a personalized plan.

  4. We'll prepare for the day so you know what to expect.

Every Therapy Intensive starts with a consultation where we'll explore your goals, answer your questions, and determine together whether an intensive is the right fit for your needs.
